The wine cellar

Good things take their time. Therefore we give our wines all the time they need to develop. We enhance the traditional winemaking methods continuously. We still ferment the Riesling wines in the traditional Mosel barrel ( 264 gallons) as well as in temperature controlled stainless steel tank.

The fermentation process is performed under cool conditions and can take often several months. This, however in particular, adds to the wines complexity and its ability to age well.

Our winemaking philosophy is to only process high quality grapes from healthy vineyards. We achieve this by only using organic products, such as straw compost or wood chaff for our fertilisation.
